In the follow-up after rumors, a new report says that Apple testing various prototypes 12.9 -inch models iPad, made for the company's Chinese partner assembler Foxconn.
According to rumors published by the Chinese Pad News (via Apple Insider), Apple is currently testing five different 12.9 -inch iPad prototype manufactured by Foxconn. The report also mentioned that Apple may launch a new iPad with a 2K resolution screen, in first six months of 2014, and a 4K resolution screen, in a few months.
The report quoted sources as saying that Apple first model can run larger IPad in April and 4K ultra -HD option under the regular IPad launch in October 2014.
The report did not specify the larger iPad models claims resolution. This is not the first time, comes to the big screen of the iPad rumors have surfaced.
Earlier, the Wall Street Journal reported that Apple is testing a new tablet measuring slightly less than 13 inches diagonal, citing Apple's supplier's officials. Another report from the Digitimes also suggests Apple and Samsung are working with 12 inches or larger display devices each tablet.
Korean site ETNews.com also reported that Apple is developing a new, larger iPad has a 12.9 inches screen, will be called the iPad Maxi.
